Meet the Innkeepers
Pauline is a retired
college professor who has also taught in the elementary schools
and in Germany and East Africa. She is an avid (almost an
addicted) cross-stitcher who loves to sing in the church choir.
When you come, you'll want to see her giraffe collection on the
Frank Lloyd Wright bookcases.
Much of her time is devoted to making the inn a great place to
stay. This includes looking for new recipes, thinking of new
getaway weekends and spending time chatting with guests or
planning a tea or wedding.
Bob, a former Marine, is also a real estate appraiser and is
currently opening a bed and breakfast real estate business. He
is the only person in the state of Indiana who gives this
service to prospective bed and breakfast owners as well as to
those who wish to sell their facilities.
Of course, Bob can talk about the Korean War for a long time but
his newest interest and probably the thing that brings him real
joy is flying. Two years ago he completed his single engine
license and is getting ready for the instrument package. Believe
it or not, Pauline even goes with him and doesn't do the "white
knuckle" routine.
We would love to meet you and add you to our growing list of
friends and acquaintances. Our lives are much richer because of
these friendships.
